My Antique Mirror Patina Solution is a simple three step process. Many have used this product successfully creating the appearance of antique mirror on new mirrors. The process is economical, less than a dollar per square foot of mirror surface. Concentrated, a water based alkaline, not a harsh acid and effects can be controlled by diluting the concentrate.

I used the antiquing solution and it worked beautifully. I had a very small project-- a pair of very small tortoise frame mirrors, one
 missing the mirror, so my goal was to produce a passable piece of matching antique mirror. I bought 3 small mirrors, to try different techniques.  The mirrors were small enough that I could immerse them in a bath of the solution.
